I have volunteered for the Brad Lander campaign in hopes of trying to elect a mayor who actually cares about New Yorkers and not just pleasing Donald Trump. I also like getting involved in local neighborhood issues, particularly regarding anti-gentrification. As the 2005 Greenpoint- Williamsburg rezoning taught us, a massive influx of high rises makes the community a rich playground instead of a more diverse and inclusionary place. |
