How do you put a life into a few words? It's tough! I'm independent, confident (usually), inquisitive (both in general and by profession, as I'm an investigative reporter), married once and had serious long-term relationships. My articles are mainly in print, but I've also done radio and some videos about issues that matter to me. I once ran a human rights organization in NY (where I lived on a boat).
I'm passionate about my children and grandchildren, relationships(I love being close), what's happening in the world, and having fun. I'm politically progressive, an intellectual and have little patience for small-mindedness. I love to laugh.I read voraciously and films are my default art. I occasionally go to hear the blues and dance til I drop.
I guess I have to say something about my looks.I'm slim, considered pretty, most often wear jeans, have brown hair, green eyes and am active (I walk,swim and bike).
What do I want? A man, 70-83 who's looking for someone like me...and yes, chemistry is critical. Do get in touch if you're progressive, smart, informed, slim, fun and haven't quite grown up yet.

Hard to say. I basically do one day at a time--publishing stories about the issues I think are important. I've just ended a long relationship and I'd love to find someone to share some/much of my life with. I have children and grandchildren (who don't live in the same city as I) but I want to be an integral part of their lives.

As I wrote in my profile, I'd love to meet a man who is progressive, smart, intellectual, slim, interesting, productive, fun to be with, who loves to be close and whose "politics" match mine---concerned about the world (issues such as climate change, surveillance, ill-conceived wars.....you get the idea!). Since I work, I am not interested in someone who is retired and only wants to travel and dine out (although I'm a very good cook and like to eat well).
