| Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als | Long time liberal. My first campaign was for Jimmy Carter in '76.Okay, so I was only 13 Do the math.. But the college kids on the campaign didn't treat me like the geeky freshman that I was. So I stuck around. By day I am a team leader of nurses (and some nonclinical people) for an insurance company. (Boo Hiss, Evil Empire). By night, I like to work on campaigns and progressive causes. Vital statistic time: 52 years old (if you didn't do the math). 5'11" 170#. Good physical shape. Sorry, not much hair on top (blame my maternal grandfather). Divorced. No serious addictions. Liberal Arts education. Degrees in Economics and Nursing. Life is a journey. Nursing is a third career. Scared yet? Don’t worry, I was pretty darn successful at the first two. I like to converse on a wide variety of subjects and am usually interested in learning about new things. I really appreciate the outdoors and love to go for a walk, hike or bike ride. Used to hunt. I like most pets (and they usually like me) with a particular fondness for cats. So what else is there? Back to the journey. In the last couple of years I have focused on improving from a spiritual sense. More scary stuff?? Not really. I attended the Unity Spiritual Center of Woodstock quite by accident. Wow! This is what I’ve been looking for my whole life. A peaceful, non-judgmental way of looking at life (no Trinity, no ‘you’re going to hell for sinning). The reverend was talking about giving and receiving. For the next year I considered what giving and receiving really meant. I the end, I decided I was good a giving by had a problem receiving. So that’s what I have been working on. |
