To be honest, I'm looking into dating because the kids think I should but I do admit that I'm curious and as an introvert, embarking on the social scene is a bit daunting. However I do enjoy going to concerts, museums, the beach, and the Tampa Bay area has wonderful beaches, good food, laughter, long conversations about all sorts of things, and hugs.

I don't mind watching sports but lack a strong enough coordination skill to participate in much. I enjoy walking, love to swim, and discovered just how delightful kayaking is. A goal is to do attempt salt water kayaking. A back injury has slowed me down (grumble, grumble,) but I love to garden, striving to make my yard the prettiest in the neighborhood.

I don't watch much TV, preferring to read or play video games (yeah, I'm a gamer grandma). I also write, finding it a passion. I've self published three books with more in the wings.

Music, just about any genre except southern gospel. Not a fan of the modern praise music, finding it banal. These days, I listen mostly to songs my grandson prefers. He's almost four.

The last first date I was on was in 2011, before that in the mid 1980's. I don't have a clue what the rules even are. Maybe we can make up our own.
